Teach a Class, Lead a Seminar, Present a Workshop

Put your knowledge and experiences to work helping others to learn. You can teach work skills, a hobby, personal development, or about nearly anything that interests people.

You can teach at campgrounds, as part of their activities programs. You can do this at numerous parks across the country, with a short class, lasting from one to five sessions. Another option is to work at a destination park, leading a seasonal activity with a weekly class. You might teach woodworking, conversational Spanish, or how to design a website.

Community adult education programs need teachers. These are often part of high school, vo-tech, or college programs. They may also be part of a library program. How about a program teaching ethnic cooking, power tools operation (the school provides the equipment), or dancing?

Rallies, conferences, and conventions are always in need of speakers and presenters. While some groups look for volunteers, many pay those who teach.
